The Glorious Sons are a band on the rise from Kingston, Ontario currently touring behind their second full length album ‘Young Beauties and Fools’.  On their first album ‘The Union’ however they recorded a song called ‘Gordie’ and during their sold-out show at the Phoenix in Toronto last night the crowd started chanting ‘Gordie, Gordie, Gordie’ after singer Brett Emmons hit the lyric ‘I wanna be like Gord Downie’
